Why I like the silence in crypto?

Over the past few years, I've seen just about everything in the crypto world. The wild frenzy, when suddenly everyone—from taxi drivers to the grocery store woman—became an "investment expert," and the spectacular crashes, followed by absolute, almost deathly silence. And you know what? Over time, I've come to the conclusion that it's precisely this silence that I like the most.

The Great Cleanup, or the Escape of Bots and Con Artists

When the market is on fire, a lot of toxic energy revolves around crypto. Slogans about "get rich quick" are everywhere, and the internet is flooded with shell projects, built on the sly just to squeeze money out of people.

Amid all this noise, it's incredibly hard to breathe, and even harder to find something of real value.

When a bear market comes, something beautiful happens—natural selection occurs. People looking for easy profits immediately flee to other, more "trendy" markets.

Scam projects close on their own because there's no one left to scam. Only those who truly believe in the technology and do their thing regardless of the charts remain.

Peace, Cheap Gas, and Substantive Content

When the crowd disappears, the market becomes incredibly transparent.

Suddenly, it turns out that transaction fees (gas) are ridiculously low because no one is clogging the network with worthless images.

Communities on Discord or X, which have stood the test of time, suddenly become substantive. People stop asking "when will the pump be?" and start talking about how to improve something, what to build, and what real problems a given project solves.

For me, it's the perfect time to learn and act.

No pressure that "I'm missing something," no panic, and no emotional rollercoaster.

A Few Steps Ahead of the Crowd

The truth about crypto is this: when the media starts trumpeting growth again and the crowds start buying, it will be too late for many to make smart moves.

Buy in silence and sell in crowds – it's an age-old principle that most people forget about with the first green candles on the chart.

So instead of complaining that "crypto is over" or chasing every new technology that comes into fashion, I prefer to use this time wisely.

When everyone starts talking about it again, I'll be a few steps ahead. Calm, prepared, and with a clear head.

And you? Are you sitting on the sidelines waiting for the noise, or do you prefer to build in silence?
