Do you know what the scam about buying an empty Phantom wallet for 2 SOL is?
Well...it seems safe because the wallet is empty, right?
Nothing could be further from the truth. It's a devious trap!
Scammers are targeting you in two ways:
1/ Seed Phrase Fraud: If you give them your "empty" wallet by providing your seed phrase (12/24 words), they'll gain access to all other accounts generated from the same phrase. Your main funds will disappear in a second.
2/ Malicious Links (Wallet Drainers): The scammer may ask you to "confirm the transaction" on a dedicated page. Clicking there doesn't sell the wallet, but gives the bot full permission to rob you of every token you ever deposit there.
Remember:
Never share your seed phrases or private keys with anyone.
Do not respond to offers to buy "old wallets" in private messages (DMs).
The person sending these messages has already been banned from our server. Stay safe!
