Safety on our server!
Hi @everyone!Our community is built around a shared passion for writing and our story, which we are absolutely thrilled about. However, we’d like to remind you of a few basic safety rules for Discord to ensure our server remains a secure space for everyone:
1. Be wary of unsolicited offers via DM: If someone you don’t know—especially a new member—sends you a private message offering paid or free services (such as proofreading, beta-reading, or graphic design help), please exercise caution.
2. NEVER download files from strangers: Scammers often send files (e.g., .exe, .zip, .rar, or even infected .docx/.pdf files) under the guise of "work samples" or "feedback on your text." Opening such files could lead to the loss of your Discord account or the theft of your personal data.
3. Report suspicious behavior: If any server member makes you uncomfortable, spams your DMs, or makes suspicious proposals, please don’t hesitate to report it directly to the administration team (ideally by providing a screenshot).
Let’s look out for one another and stay vigilant!
